Travelling is a fun activity to do. Besides giving you a feeling of joy, travelling also can give you more insight about culture or wild life. Indonesia, one of the archipelago countries has lots of places for you to travel. One of its province called Lampung provides for you, travelers, one of its best scenery and wild life. Here, in this article I will give you 3 places that you can travel while you are in the place that is well known for its banana and elephant.

    1.    Pantai Pasir Putih
Pantai Pasir Putih or if we translate it in English (White Sand Beach) is located about 20 KM from Bandar Lampung, the capital city of Lampung. Being one of the most favorite destination for Lampung people to have a vacation, this place is almost always crowded by people in the weekend. This place only take 20 minutes from Bandar Lampung. With its beautiful sea and white sand and also surrounding green trees, you will be spoiled with beautiful scenery and atmosphere.

    2.    Taman Nasional Way Kambas
When Indonesian people hear about Lampung, the first thing that may come in their mind must be one of its special animal, elephant. Yes, Lampung is well known for its elephants. Some people will refer Lampung as an Elephant city. There is one place in Lampung that is used as an Elephants’ conservation named “Taman Nasional Way Kambas.” Established in 1989, this national park becomes the oldest national park in Indonesia. This park is located in Way Kanan, one of Lampung district situated in the Northern Lampung. Besides Elephant, the animas conserved are also Sumatran Tiger and also Sumatran Rhinoceros. This place will offers you not only those beautiful animals but also a very natural views.

    3.    Pulau Kubur
Pulau Kubur or “Graveyard Island” (it sounds scary isn’t it?) is located in Teluk Lampung, Sothern Lampung. We can reach the island by riding a boat, and it takes only 20 minutes. Why is this island named “Pulau Kubur” or “Graveyard Island”? Well, according to local people, this island was used as a place to throw dead bodies’ ash in the past. And now, its function changed. Now this island is a favorite spot for Lampung people and also traveler to fish while enjoying the blue water surrounding the island.
